Happy Hounds was launched in Spring 2022 and is very much a family affair!
Following a successful Kidney transplant in January 2021, twenty years working in HR management, and some reflection, I decided to try something new which would be equally rewarding.
The dog walking side of the business is managed by me, Melanie. Since starting, I’ve built a solid client base which continues to grow with some wonderful doggie clients and their owners!
November 2022 sees Happy Hounds expand further, with the opening of our Woodland Retreat! Supported by my husband, Neil.
As a dog lover/owner myself, I know how much our beloved four legged friends mean to us, so fully understand that their health,, happiness and wellbeing is paramount. For your peace of mind, I am fully insured, DBS checked and canine first aid level 2 qualified.
Happy Hounds can offer solo/group dog walks & professional, discreet, bespoke home visits to suit the needs of your dog
Primarily covering Short Street, Chapmanslade, Dilton Marsh, Corsley, Upton Scudamore, Beckington.
Limited availability in Frome, Westbury, Warminster and Trowbridge.

Our Woodland Retreat is set in an acre of woodland at our home in Chapmanslade. We aim to provide a safe, secure, natural & tranquil space for dogs and their owners to use - supporting both physical needs & wellbeing . The natural wood canopy offers shelter in the winter and shade in the summer.
All dogs are very welcome, our retreat may be particularly appealing to dogs with specific requirements/needs ie. anxious or nervous dogs, dogs rehabilitating after an operation, rescue dogs, puppies/dogs in training, dogs in season.
